Central West HACCnet Protocol

CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Service providers will observe HACC Standard 5: "Privacy, Confidentiality and Access to Personal Information" - ensuring that client's rights to privacy and confidentiality are respected.
  • Information about specific clients is not to be shared on the HACCnet without the permission of the client, their guardian or advocate.
  • Service providers will protect the anonymity of their clients when seeking or providing information relating to client care.
  • Service providers must specify whom the information can be divulged to and be cautious of the possibility of system links and alliances.
  • Service providers will delete client related information as soon as possible and remember even then, this can be accessed and must be protected by ensuring the use and security of, computer passwords.
  • Service providers will take care to ensure that the content of any information could not be construed as discriminatory, offensive or in breach of duty of care obligations.
  • Service providers will adopt grievance procedures where there has been a breach of confidentiality.

E-NEWS SUBSCRIPTIONS

  • The Central West E-news subscription list will be only available to TRI Community Exchange
  • The E-news will be used by TRI Community Exchange Inc only, to provide subscribers with weekly HACCnet updates and information about the Central West HACC Project
  • Posting to the subscription list will be carried out by either the HACC Project Website Administrator or Coordinator
  • No member is to attempt to use the subscription list to post emails to other group members
  • In the event of someone attempting to post to the subscription list the following procedure will be followed:

a. The website administrator and coordinator will receive an automated ‘request for authorisation' response

b. The person in question will receive an email from either the website administrator or coordinator that their posting has been denied and referred to the Legal Notices document

  • HACCnet members will be able to unsubscribe anytime with the understanding that doing so will result in not receiving updates about the website and project

FILE SUBMISION

  • Files to be submitted to the website (pictures, documents) will be sent to the website administrator by email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or through the online form.
  • TRI Community Exchange Inc reserves the right to decline to place a content contribution item on the Central West HACCnet. By sharing any contribution (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) with us you agree to grant us permission to modify the material in any way necessary for TRI to place the contribution on the website.
